"I Started Doing American Films & TV Before Priyanka Chopra... And I Don't Have The Publicity Machine Working Around Me" - Shenaz Treasury

I have to tell you, I was almost heartbroken when Shenaz Treasury disappeared from MTV India. She was almost every 90s Indian kids’ favourite VJ and I’d legit come back from school and turn on the TV to watch her do all the fun stuff they’d do back in the day.

Post that, Treasury moved to the US and began doing TV shows and films there and made a name for herself there. If you follow her on Instagram, you’ll also know that she’s got quite the wanderlust and hosts a travel show too and makes us all jealous with those gorgeous photos. She has now landed herself a show on Netflix called Brown Nation, where she plays a young Pakistani girl and Anupam Kher‘s daughter-in-law.

Shenaz recently told IANS about how she’s been doing this much before Priyanka Chopra but it hasn’t been in the news that much because she doesn’t have a PR machinery working round the clock around her.

I started doing American films and TV before Priyanka, but of course I do small roles in big films and I don’t have the publicity machine working around me. I have been working in Brown Nation, Nightly Show, One Life To Live, Gentlemen, The Big Sick.

That is true. She will next be seen in the Tiger Shroff starrer Munna Michael and I can’t wait!
