Parineeti Chopra recently attended the graduation ceremony of a martial arts school, where she spoke about her troubles as a student growing up in a not-so-rich family. Pari revealed she didn’t have the money for bus or taxi, due to which she used to cycle to her school.
Things escalated quickly when a certain Kkanoo Gupta, claiming to be her classmate wrote a Facebook post alleging that Pari is “lying through the teeth”. He wrote that she came from a privileged background, and owning a cycle at that time was an indication enough.
Parineeti clarified her stand on Twitter today, and posted:
