Parineeti Chopra, who is one of Bollywood’s most loved actresses, has managed to land herself in a controversy after talking about her poverty ridden school days. Pari attended the graduation ceremony at a martial arts school about spoke about how she wanted to learn martial arts but didn’t have the money to travel by bus or taxi to school – because of which she’d cycle to school.
She added,
I am so touched after coming here as I am thinking about my life. I am from a very small city, Ambala. I had two brothers growing up and we had a lot of difficulties. We didn’t have any money, so I used to travel by cycle, to school. We did not have a car, or even money for the bus. I used to fight with my mom and dad saying why do I have to cycle to school every day. I did not have the money to join a martial arts class during the time. I am so happy for you that you got this opportunity. Thank yourselves that you are graduating from such an institute. Make use of this knowledge and go kick some ass.

Soon after, the actress received a lot of flak from her school mates who claim that she is from a well-to-do family and that her family had cars when she went to school.
Uh oh. We don’t know if the claims are true yet and if the said person is actually her school friend, but what we know is that Pari’s not going to be happy.
