Since the time Shah Rukh Khan and Anand L Rai‘s untitled movie has gone on the floors, speculations as to who will play the female leads have been going on. From Alia Bhatt to Anushka Sharma, Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone, all the top actresses are being named as the heroines of this film. But it seems like Katrina and Anushka are the names that have been finalized. Rumours of Katrina and Deepika doing the movie together were rather strong at one point of time, but there were reports of Katrina requesting Anand to remove Deepika from the film. In an interview to DNA, Katrina responded to this piece of news –
I don’t think any actor in today’s day and age is going around putting stipulations on their director. I am not comfortable talking about or having discussions on any film. I would rather like to give the directors their professional space to sort out or go through this process.
Fair enough, but we wish the two ladies put their differences aside and collaborate someday!
