Priyanka Chopra met PM Narendra Modi a couple of days ago, as both of them happened to be in Berlin at the same time. One would feel proud of PeeCee for her achievements and all that she has done to push forward our country’s name, but social media had a different plan.
Soon after Priyanka posted a picture of her meet and greet session with PM Modi, comments related to the length of her dress started pouring in. Although the actress gave it back to the haters in style, one cannot help but wonder the need for a discussion about one’s dress. Varun Dhawan too defended her and told a leading daily:
She is someone we all should be proud of in our country…she is making our country proud abroad. All this is very stupid and social media trolling is not something that needs to become a national issue.
