The Mumbai police has registered a case against Rishi Kapoor for allegedly cutting down more than 6 branches of trees, which were hampering the construction work at his bungalow. According to reports, he had acquired permission to cut 6 branches, but ended up cutting more than that.
According to BL, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) reportedly filed a complaint against him for chopping off more number of branches than permitted. Now, a case has been registered against him under the Preservation of Trees Act and the police is looking into the matter.
