Celebrity poker is a big thing in the West. Stars like Ben Affleck and the original Spiderman Toby Maguire are known to participate in poker championships and win. In India, while Akshay Kumar is known to be good with cards, no celebrity has participated in professional poker games, but things are changing now. Another celebrity who is awesome at the game is Minissha Lamba, something not many people know about.
Minissha has been playing poker since the past seven years and has also made appearances in many poker tournaments like the Indian Poker Championship and Deltin Poker Tournament to name a few. She stood fourth at the INR 15K Weekend Kickoff Tournament in India Poker Championship – December 2011, held in Goa.
Due to her expertise in the game, Minissha has been signed by poker website Adda52.com as their Celebrity Pro. She will be representing the website at the WPT 500 Aria poker tournament in Las Vegas. Here’s a photo she has shared from Vegas –
