I’ve been looking forward to Veere Di Wedding since the day it was announced. Starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor and Swara Bhaskar in key roles, this one promises to be the “chick flick” Bollywood needs. Rumors started doing the rounds that the makers of the film might be looking to change the title as an upcoming Jimmy Shergill film has the same name.
Putting a rest to all speculation, Rhea Kapoor said:
Our film has been called Veere di Wedding from the very beginning. This the title that my father’s company (Anil Kapoor Film Company Private Limited) has registered with the IFTPC since 20th June 2015. Any suggestion that we are changing our film’s title is simply not true. Veere di Wedding will commence shoot in August and we are all very excited about it.
