Model turned actress Emily Ratajkowski who became famous after the Blurred Lines video and has featured in movies like Gone Girl and We Are Your Friends, spoke about losing two films, because she was branded “too sexy”. In an article by Contactmusic, Emily says she hasn’t got the roles she wanted because of her looks.
In another interview to Harper’s Bazaar she’s not getting work because of her boobs –
There’s this thing that happens to me, ‘Oh, she’s too sexy.’ It’s like an anti-woman thing, that people don’t want to work with me because my boobs are too big. “What’s wrong with boobs? They’re a beautiful feminine thing that needs to be celebrated. Like, who cares? They are great big, they are great small. Why should that be an issue?
Who would’ve thought being gorgeous will hamper your career? But she makes valid points.
