Yesterday, a photo of Katrina Kaif that dated back to 15 years went viral on social media. Kat is posing next to Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi, along with other Bollywood celebs like Aditi Govitrikar and Neha Dhupia.

However, the photo posted by model turned entrepreneur Shamita Singha was soon deleted as she faced a lot of flak after posting it. Why, you ask? Shamita had referred to meeting the dictator, Gaddafi as a “privilege”, which did not go down very well with the majority. She had captioned the photo:

“Almost 15 years ago when we were in Libya for a fashion show and had the privilege of meeting the man, Mr Gaddafi, himself. Girls! Remember this trip?”

As we all know – hell hath no fury like a social media scorned! Therefore, Shamita took down the post.
