Remember a few months ago Abhay Deol raised his voice against fairness cream and also called out the celebrities who endorsed them. Abhay raised a valid point in his Twitter rant because as a country we are obsessed with fair skin and consider it as a measure of beauty standards.
Now, according to a report in DNA, the actor recently got recognition for his fight against racism and has been awarded “Valerian of Racism” by the makers of Valerian and The City of Thousand Planets. They will be picking up other Indian celebrities also who are saving the country from various social menaces.
