Saif Ali Khan and Karan Johar are two of the wittiest men in Bollywood and one would’ve hoped the two would’ve set the stage on fire. The hosts at IIFA always poke fun at the events of the year, and if you’ve been following the news at all, you’d know that the biggest newsmaker in Bollywood was the nepotism controversy. It all started when Kangana Ranaut spoke about it on Koffee With Karan, and since then, there has been a whole lot of mud-slinging.

The two reportedly chanted “Nepotism rocks” a bunch of times, and Karan was heard saying, “I’m here because of my father, Saif is here because of his mother, and Varun is here also because of his father. What’s the big deal?” Also when Varun Dhawan won an award, he hilariously said “Down with nepotism!”. Umm, this was all meant to be in good humour, of course.

The two ended that section by singing, “Bole chudiyaan, bole Kangana”, and Karan quickly said, “Kangana bolti hi kyun hai?”

Ouch! This was extremely distasteful and unnecessary, don’t you think?
