The teaser of Kangana Ranaut‘s Simran came out a couple of weeks ago and while it received a lot of appreciation, it also put her amidst a controversy. Writer Apurva Asrani alleged that Kangana took away the entire writing credit for the film and was also annoyed that her name came first in the film’s credits even though she was an additional writer. He took to Facebook to slam the actress for it and the makers of the film finally apologised and corrected the ‘error’.

If you followed the news over the weekend, you’ll know about the nepotism controversy, which has again come to light thanks to the comments of Saif Ali Khan, Varun Dhawan and Karan Johar and IIFA. While people all over have been slamming the trio for their insensitive jokes, Apurva Asrani seems to be annoyed that Kangana has been gaining sympathy for the same. He took a dig at her in his Facebook post.
