Shah Rukh Khan recently did a fun video for Rajeev Masand‘s YouTube channel, where he answered the Internet’s most searched questions about him.
One of the questions was, ‘What is Shah Rukh Khan’s phone number?‘.
The actor promptly replied – “It’s 5559960321, call anytime post midnight, I’ll pick it up. Otherwise leave a message, I’ll answer with an emoji.”
Of course, most of us mere mortals would laugh it off and say that he hasn’t actually given his number out on the Internet. I mean, he’s literally one of the most popular men in the country.
But I decided to investigate this matter further (the word ‘investigate’ has been used extremely loosely here) and fed this number on Truecaller, an app which helps identify phone numbers that are not on your contact list.
Truecaller sources the number from someone else’s phonebook in its network and gives you the result. It’s possible that a person’s contact details won’t be available on the app as no other Truecaller user has saved the said person’s number. Anyway, getting back to the story, here’s what happened when I put in SRK’s number in Truecaller –
Whoaaa! I really think I should send him a message now, maybe he’ll reply with a fun emoji?
P.S – I’m aware that Truecaller is not a 100% accurate source and it’s very likely that someone took his number from the show and stored it in his/her phone as SRK. Which made Truecaller identify it as SRK. Please don’t take this article seriously, it’s a slow news day. Just marvel at the possibility of maybe having Shah Rukh Khan’s number.
