Ranbir Kapoor‘s co-star in Jagga Jasoos – Bidisha Bezbaruah – a popular Assamese actress and singer was found dead at her home in the Sushant Lok area of Gurugram on Monday evening. Deputy Commissioner of Police (East) Deepak Saharan issued a statement to the media saying,
Bezbaruah was found hanging from a ceiling fan in her rented accommodation which she had taken recently. Her father suspected something foul as she was not picking the phone on Monday evening. He approached the police and gave details of her local address.
Upon reaching her residence, they found that the main gate and door were locked from inside. When they managed to break in, they found her hanging to the ceiling fan. Her father claims that she had a troubled marriage and this probably could’ve been the cause of her suicide. Her phone and social media accounts are currently being looked into for more information.
This is really sad and unfortunate. May her soul rest in peace.
