Hrithik Roshan‘s Kaabil was one of the most hyped movies at the start of 2017, and the movie did really well at the box office too. Fans loved his chemistry with Yami Gautam, and have been eagerly waiting for somebody to cast them together again. But here’s some good news for all you Kaabil fans – there’s going to be a Hollywood remake! Yup, the film’s director Sanjay Gupta confirmed to Mid-Day.
It’s true that Fox, through Tomas Jegeus (President, Fox International Productions), has approached Hrithik. Even though the developments are too premature to talk about at this moment, it is an honour for the team. What is also exciting is that Kaabil has been declared the best film of [the first half of] 2017 via an online poll. So, it’s a double win for us.
Wow! For once, it’s the other way round and Hollywood is remaking our movies.
