Sukriti Gumber , 20 Jul 2017

The latest soap on Indian television, Pehredaar Piya Ki, has managed to create quite a stir due to its unusual story line. A 10-year old child marries a grown up woman played by Tejasswini Prakash – Indian television has definitely touched new lows (or highs?!).

Suyyash Rai, who plays an important tole in the show took to Instagram to urge people to not judge the show without seeing it. He said the show doesn’t promote child marriage and Sony TV would never approve the show if it had been inappropriate in any way.
