Pakistani singer Zain Ali, who won all our hearts back in 2012 with his melodious voice in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, was found dead yesterday. He had gone out to spend a couple of days with his friends but was found unconscious in a friend’s bathroom. When police and the medics intervened, they declared him to be dead.
The cause of his death is not known but a case of drug overdose is being suspected, as reported on The Express Tribune. His brother confirmed to the daily that Zain was a drug addict but he said a drug overdose was highly unlikely.
This is really unfortunate. May his soul rest in peace.
