Earlier this year, Ranbir Kapoor & Ranveer Singh fulfilled (almost) all our dreams by appearing together on Koffee With Karan 5. It was the perfect episode – both the handsome boys in one room, at their candid best, opening up about their lives. Perfect, yes!
Little did we know that Ranbir was not willing to appear on the show this year. In a recent TV interview, Ranbir said, in good humour I am assuming, that he was forced to come on Koffee With Karan 5. So was his Ae Dil Hai Mushkil co-star, Anushka Sharma. He was asked if the talk show was a good idea since it always gets actors into trouble, to which he replied:
You know Karan so well and he makes you so comfortable and you are chatting with him and you don’t realise there are a billion people taking every word of yours seriously and that you are going to get screwed for it later. I am tired of Koffee with Karan. I was forced this season. I told Karan I don’t want to come in and me and Anushka were actually going to protest and get the film industry together to stop this because it’s not fair. He is making money out of us. We come and we get screwed through the year. It’s not right.
LOL! The man has a point. But, sorry Ranbir, we are more than willing to let KJo mint money out of this because we love Koffee With Karan.
