Bollywood has seen its fair share of biopics in the past few years, and it looks like the trend of making films based on a person’s life is here to stay. This August, we will see Shraddha Kapoor play the titular role in Haseena Parkar, and later in December, Ranbir Kapoor will bring alive Sanjay Dutt onscreen.

However, one person who does not want his life to be adapted into a motion picture is Shah Rukh Khan. He told MidDay the reason for not wanting a biopic on himself:

It won’t be a great script because only the people closest to me know the interesting parts of my life. And unless there’s a good story, it will be a boring script. It will be the usual success story about a Delhi guy who came with nothing and became a superstar. I feel till I flop completely or do something absolutely controversial, there isn’t going to be anything to spice up my story. It’s not that I don’t want anyone to make a film on me. But right now, there’s nothing interesting in my life to make a film about. Success stories are plain and simply boring. And someone had told me you cannot be a legend without controversies. Unfortunately, you guys don’t know my controversies. So, not yet.

Um-hmm. We disagree with King Khan here. The real reason why there can never be a biopic on SRK is that nobody else will be able to pull off the role. So unless Shah Rukh plays Shah Rukh, there can’t be a biopic. Amirite?
