Mandana Karimi recently filed a case of domestic violence against her husband Gaurav Gupta, barely a few months after their wedding in January. According to a report in SpotboyE, Mandana had other issues apart from her marital issues with Gaurav.
Turns out, she did not want to stay with the family anymore as TV actress Smriti Khanna will soon enter the household after her marriage to Mandana’s brother-in-law Gautam Gupta. Reports suggest Mandana did not want another woman in the house and she allegedly hated Smriti.
However, Smriti is cool and composed about the entire situation and told SpotboyE that the incident has not changed her decision:
My parents and I are sure of what I am going to do. They have no doubts about the Gupta family, not then neither now. I trust Gautam and his family and they are very good with me.
A source close to the family also told the media portal that Mandana hated Smriti, even though the latter was quite good to her whenever they met for family functions.
This is quite a messy situation for the Gupta family! We hope things turn out to be fine for everyone involved.
