Amidst an array of bizarre Indian soaps, where the lead character turns into a fly or a kid marries a grown woman, the international shows introduced to us by OZEE have been a breath of fresh air for us. The stories are powerful and there’s a strong takeaway message in each of them. Moreover, there are some really good looking men in those who make a sight for sore eyes! I’ve been binge watching five international shows that are now streaming on OZEE and I cannot get enough of them (the shows and the heroes!).
Here’s a lowdown on 6 heartthrobs from these international shows you are bound to fall in love with:
1. Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ a.k.a Kuzey
Kuzey Guney is a show about two brothers who are poles apart but they somehow end up falling for the same girl. While both the guys have a massive fan following, it’s Kıvanç aka Kuzey’s rugged bad boy charm that girls cannot stop swooning over. In fact, he’s popularly known as the ‘Turkish Brad Pitt‘ because of his unusual European appearance. According to several polls, he is recognized as ‘The sexiest actor in Turkey’. I mean, just look at those intense eyes. Who wouldn’t fall for this hottie?
2. Song Joong-Ki a.k.a Captain Yoo Si-jin
After completing his mandatory military service, Song took on the lead role in the pan-Asian drama, Descendants of the Sun. The South Korean romantic blockbuster traces the bonds amongst the young soldiers and doctors in Uruk – a strange land suffering from war and disease. After this show, Song Joong became one of the top most Hallyu star as his character was loved by one and all. The hunk has ranked 2nd in the Forbes Korea Power Celebrity list this year. But sorry girls, this heartthrob has just announced his wedding!
3. Felipe Simas aka Jonatas
Brazilian actor Felipe aka Jonatas from Total Dreamer is one of the reasons why the show is super popular among teenagers. The simplicity of his character is heartwarming and there’s something about his nonchalance that makes him extremely likable.
4. Fabio Assuncao aka Arthur
While Jonatas has his own appeal, it’s Total Dreamer‘s Arthur who is the heart of the show. He might not be the conventional heartthrob but his overall personality makes him quite the charmer. He plays the character of a prominent modeling agency owner, who rescues the life of a young girl living on the streets – and Fabio does complete justice to this character. He exudes opulence and is super suave. You must watch the show to witness what I’m talking about!
5. Lee Min-ho aka Jun-Pyo
Boys Over Flowers is about a young girl who gets a scholarship to attend a posh school that’s filled with a bunch of shallow, privileged and arrogant kids. She starts finding them unbearable and begins to detest the F4 – four rich, handsome and extremely rude boys. Jun Pyo happens to be one of them. And it’s difficult not to get attracted towards his badass attitude, you know what I mean? Of course, Lee Min’s crackling looks ups the hotness of his character. The popular actor even has his very own wax figure at Madame Tussauds, Beijing.
6. Hyun-joong Kim aka Ji Hoo
Another hottie from Boys Over Flowers, Ji Hoo is also one of the ‘kings of the school’, who no one dares to challenge. Played by Hyun-joong, this character is a favourite. A former band member and football player, Hyun had everything that it takes to leave the teenage girls jelly-kneed.
