Aashka Goradia and Brent Globe are one of television’s most popular couples. The two appeared together on Nach Baliye and soon became a house favourite with the audience. Aashka often shares the cutest photos of the two of them on her Instagram and the one thing we can tell is that these are head over heels for each other. Ahead of their big wedding, we thought we’d give you a little low down of how it all started.
How They Met
This is exactly like you’ve seen in the movies. No, really. I’m not kidding. The two met at a concert in Las Vegas. Brent was hosting a part of the VIP section that Aashka was at and somehow, their eyes met and then as we all know, they couldn’t take them off each other. They chatted for about a month while she was still in the US, and then flew down to Vegas to spend some time with him. Five days later, they realised they were perfect for each other, and Brent, without wasting any time, took her straight to meet his parents.
Brent’s Big Move
The big problem here was that Aashka lived in Bombay and Brent lived in the US. They had a serious discussion later and Brent decided he wanted to support Aashka in her career and thus, decided to make the big move to India. Can we all collectively just go “AWWWW!”? How sweet is that? And how often does someone do this for you? 🙂 The two have since then gone on to do Nach Baliye and you’ve all already seen, their chemistry is undeniable. They became a house favourite and we couldn’t help but fall in love with Brent’s cute hindi pronunciations.
He Proposed
Back in December of last year, Brent went down on his knees and proposed to Aashka in front of his whole family. He planned it with great detail for months and eventually gifted Aashka a ring with two sapphires flanking the diamond, according to a report on SpotboyE. And now, the couple is gearing up for their big wedding. They’re going to have two weddings – one in a true blue Indian style and the other will be a catholic wedding. Pretty sweet, right?
