It seems like the last couple of months haven’t been going to well for Kapil Sharma – he has been embroiled in a ton of controversies – the most famous one being his spat with Sunil Grover on board an aircraft where Kapil allegedly got physical and hurled abuses at him. Soon after, Grover quit the show along with Ali Asgar, and there was a lot of back-and-forth between the crew. Kapil even took to Twitter to apologise but that didn’t work and Sunil wrote back letting him know he was mighty hurt. Even Twitter’s favourite person Rishi Kapoor tried to get the two to patch up but to no avail.
Just when it looked like things were starting to cool off there, news of another controversy has made its way. According to a report in SpotboyE, Navjot Singh Sidhu fell ill and couldn’t make it to shoot for one of the episodes, because of which, Kapil decided to replace him with Archana Puran Singh for that episode. This annoyed Sidhu greatly because if rumours are to be believed – he isn’t too fond of Singh. He called Kapil to make his displeasure known, and the team tried their best to cancel the shoot with Archana after Sidhu sent out an ultimatum.
Ouch. That sounds messy. And of all the people that Kapil could’ve possibly had a tiff with, we assumed Sidhu would be the last one. Oh well. Here’s hoping it’s all fixed and good now. 🙂
