Mohit Sehgal and Sanaya Irani‘s love and undying support for each other was quite evident during Nach Baliye 8 journey. They may not have won the season, but they managed to reach the finals only because of their constant belief in each other. Sanaya was patient throughout, considering Mohit was not a good dancer initially (that little fact changed by the end of the season). Whereas Mohit never gave up once in his attempts to improve himself for his lady love. That’s love, isn’t it?!
#Monaya, as they are often referred to by their fans, met on the sets of Miley Jab Hum Tum. Little did we know then that their onscreen romance was developing into something much deeper off screen. They kept their relationship under the wraps until the show ended, and dated for almost seven years before getting married last year.
They had a hush-hush Roka ceremony at Mohit’s Delhi residence on December 13, 2015. Around 2 weeks later, the to-be bride and groom had their respective bachelor parties with their friends from the TV industry.
The wedding festivities kicked off on 24th Janaury with Sangeet and Mehendi and a whole lot of fun at the beach – yep, the couple chose to have a destination wedding. On January 25, 2016, Sanaya and Mohit got married in a beautiful beach ceremony in Goa. All their close friends were present on their big day – Drashti Dhami, Roshni Chopra, Daljeet Kaur, Kinshuk Mahajan, Raqesh Vashishth, Ridhi Dogra, Lata Sreedhar, Gautum Hegde, Barun Sobti with wife Pashmeen Manchanda, Arjun Bijlani with wife Neha Swami, and Akshay Dogra with wife Sakshi.

They ended the celebration of their happily every after with a beautiful reception followed by an exotic honeymoon in Maldives. Quite a fairy tale affair, isn’t it?!
