Kapil Sharma has been in the news for all the wrong reasons over the last couple of months. From fights with his crew to dipping TRPs – Kapil has been receiving a lot of negative publicity. We told you about how Navjot Singh Siddhu too was recently miffed for the comedian for replacing him with Archana Puran Singh for an episode when he was unwell and couldn’t make it. We’re hoping and guessing all’s well between the two now.
Speaking of unwell, Kapil has been quite ill over the last couple of weeks. He was rushed to the hospital from sets too, and from what we hear, he has been having panic attacks. Because of his ill health, he has cancelled shoots multiple times and has kept stars waiting for hours together. Right from Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma for Jab Harry Met Sejal to Arjun Kapoor and the cast of Mubarakan during their promotions – the actors have all had to go back from the sets of the show.
There were new reports (on Hindustan Times) of Ajay Devgn storming out of sets of the show after Kapil kept him waiting and didn’t turn up. His phones were switched off while his team frantically tried to get in touch with him but to no avail. Once they realised he wasn’t going to be able to make it, it was reported that Ajay Devgn was furious and walked out.
According to a report in Indian Express, this news is not entirely true. Kapil’s ill health has been keeping him from sticking to his schedules, leading to multiple cancellations happening on the sets. And as it turns out, Ajay didn’t storm out of the sets but was sad given the situation and was worried for him. We really hope Kapil gets well soon. Sending him all our love and best wishes. 🙂
