A technician reportedly died at the outdoor shoot of Anushka Sharma‘s upcoming film Pari, on Tuesday. According to a report in DNA, Shah Alam, a resident of Uttar Pradesh probably touched a live wire in a bamboo bush at the location, South 24 Parganas district, which led to his death.

A police officer spoke to DNA about the incident and said:

We are looking into the matter. The body has been sent for post-mortem and we are waiting for the report. Primarily, it seems that the person died of electrocution. The scene was shot around a bamboo bush where lights were fitted to illuminate the objects and the main characters. He probably had touched one of the live wires.

Alam was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was declared brought dead. The shooting of the film at the location has been temporarily stalled.
