Aftab Shivdasani and his ladylove Nin had a very intimate and beautiful destination wedding at Anantara Peace Haven, Tangalle in the South Eastern coast of Sri Lanka. The couple had initially registered their marriage on June 5th in 2014. However, they never had a wedding ceremony back then.
A while ago, when the duo visited Sri Lanka, they fell in love with the property the were staying at – Anantara. And hence, they decided to have their impending shaadi functions there.
Their family members and close friends flew down to be a part of the special event. The celebrations took place over a span of two days with a mehendi and celebration party on the beach on the first day. On the second day, there was a Hindu wedding ceremony, for which the couple had flown in their pundit ji from Mumbai. They walked around the fire to take their vows followed by a Buddhist blessing from some local Sri Lankan monks.
The lovebirds made a grand entry with Aftab entering on an elephant and Nin being carried on a Doli. They truly looked like a royal couple with a grand procession on Kandiyan dancers.
