Method actor Ranveer Singh is known to go out of his way to give his best in front of the camera. Naturally, he’s leaving no stone unturned for Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s magnum opus, Padmavati. And recently, the actor had to endure the pain of getting slapped not once or twice but 24 times in order to get a scene right. Reportedly, Ranveer was shooting a sequence with Raza Murad, who’s playing Jalaluddin Khiljee in the film. And Bhansali being the perfectionist that he is, made the duo take several retakes. Hence, Raza Murad kept on slapping Ranveer until they got the shot right. Naturally, Ranveer’s cheeks had turned red by the time they wrapped up. When a Hindi daily carried the news, Ranveer confirmed it on Twitter.
