Bobby Darling and Bhopal-based businessman Ramneek Sharma had tied the knot in 2016. A year later, Bobby, who has changed her name to Pakhi after going through a sex change operation in 2015, is filing for divorce. She has accused her husband of domestic violence and unnatural sex. As per reports on Hindustan Times and Firstpost, Bobby alleged that Ramneek also “usurped” her “property and money.” Elaborating on the violence, Bobby said that he’d often hit her after getting drunk and accuse her of cheating on him.
Here’s how Bobby described her harrowing ordeal –
I have faced a lot of domestic violence. I still can’t move my left hand freely and limp while walking. My speech is also slurred. I would cry like a child and pee in my clothes while pleading with him to stop hitting me.
She then revealed that Ramneek has bought an SUV with her money and forced her to give him co-ownership of his flat, basically leaving her with nothing. Apart from the divorce petition, Bobby has also filed an FIR against her husband, his mother and his brother, alleging dowry harassment.
