Why are we so excited this week? New York Fashion Week SS ’18 is going on in full swing, setting some runway trends for the rest of the year. And when it comes to fashion, we can’t get enough. While day 3 intrigued us with the garden runway, day 4’s highlight was the #WangFest. Here are all the best showcases from day 4 so you don’t have any fashion week fomo!

1. Self Portrait

The creators of the ‘naked dress’ showcased some stripes and polka prints for their SS18 collection. The play of ruffles and contrasting accessories brought the runway some interesting quirk.

2. Creatures of the wind

We were really pleased to see the SS18 collection of Creatures Of The Wind. The highlight of their show was the minimal yet striking styling that one could take inspiration from.

3. Banana Republic Olivia Palermo

NYFW SS18 also unveiled the most exciting collaboration for us. Sparks flew as fashion giant retailer Banana Republic showcased their capsule collection with style icon Olivia Palermo. The rich and bold colours with well-tailored silhouettes made this collection our instant favourite!

4. Simon Miller

Inspired by the animals of the Congolese rainforest, Simon Miller‘s SS 18 collection saw some vibrant hues on the runway. What’s a summer of 2018 without this delectable colour palette?

5. Jonathan Simkhai

Jonathan Simkhai gathered his inspiration from the ease and effortlessness of women’s dressing. His collection perfectly captures that notion in a light colour palette and minimal, striped prints.

6. Namilia

Namilia SS18 showcased some intriguing silhouettes that featured some indiscreet jewels all over. The opulent mix of colour and shine was truly divine!

7. Alexander Wang

The #WangFest was all the rage on day 4 of NYFW. Truth be told, even Kim Kardashian couldn’t resist witnessing the collection that brought the NYC traffic to a stand still.

Alexander Wang redefined street style with his fierce collection and we have a hunch that these pieces will soon be spotted off the runway by the who’s who of the industry.

8. Julianna Bass

With capped-toe heels and flowy garden silhouettes, Julianna Bass‘s SS18 collection was an utter delight on the runway.
