Veteran Bollywood & TV actor and theatre personality Tom Alter has reportedly been diagnosed with cancer. According to a report in Mid-Day, he is suffering from the fourth stage of bone cancer. He has been admitted to Saifee Hospital for treatment. Tom’s son Jamie confirmed the news to Indian Express Online but couldn’t divulge further details.
Tom made his Bollywood debut in 1976 with Dharmendra‘s Charas, and has worked in several other popular films like Aashiqui, Shatranj Ke Khiladi, Gandhi and Veer Zaara.
