We’re lovin’ how each designer is showing off their distinct sense of style at New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer ’18. From Rihanna‘s Fenty x Puma runway madness to Tory Burch‘s garden ramp, every day of NYFW has been offering something new. Day 6 was no different as designers Oscar De La Renta, Anna Sui, Carolina Hererra and more brought their A-Game to NYFW with OTT styles and a fresh take on ready-to-wear fashion.

Keep scrolling to check out some of our favorite shows from Day 6 of NYFW!

Rosie Assoulin

Fun prints on sharp silhouettes, checks on checks, overblown ruffled shirts, skirts and more. Rosie Assoulin‘s SS18 collection on the NYFW runway was the right mix of whimsical with modern fashion.

Zimmerman

Nicky Zimmermann decided to revisit the Gold Coast in her home country of Australia with this NNYFW SS18 collection. Floral prints, stripes, and applique paired with flared hems, ruffles, and bold shoulders were our spring time faves.

P.S. With white kicks in abundance on this runway, there was a little something in there for the millennials too!

Anna Sui

Easily one of the best #SistersBeforeMisters moments ever! Anna Sui‘s collection had bold and sassy with hints of hippie written all over it. The inspiration of the free-spirited was evident in every piece presented on the runway.

Lela Rose

Lela Rose‘s collection aka the #LelaRoseParkParty was basically a mini NYFW picnic. The outdoors brought the perfect vibe for her bright and playful collection. Floral bow tops, minimal ruffled dresses, beautifully printed separates and some bold stripes too. The hints of lime green and orange along with the darker tones in this collection really proved how every color on the chart can be deemed ‘pretty’.

Carolina Herrera

Carolina Herrera brought a lot of color and pep to the NYFW runway with her Spring/Summer 2018 collection. She played with colors and matched them to the flowy silhouettes, detailed designs, and OTT shoulders she created. From polka dots to fringes and fully sequinned dresses, Caroline Herrera did it all!

Oscar De La Renta

Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia designed the pieces for Oscar De La Renta’s NYFW SS18 collection working closely with the designer himself. The line up was pretty and has the ability to instantly catch any fashion girl’s attention with its gradient hues and paint-splattered stilettos. Many outfits also had Mr. De La Renta’s name painted all over them in artistic ways. Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia were quite literal in pouring out their appreciation for the designer.

Helmut Lang

Helmut Lang’s collection highlighted the unisex approach to dressing. One could easily tell how strong his focus was on the kink factor with the asymmetric bras and rearless pants that he designed. The ensembles on his runway

were

covered in tones of black and white while occasional reds came our way too.
