Once upon a time, south Indian actress Raai Laxmi made waves due to her alleged romance with the former captain of the Indian cricket team, Mahendra Singh Dhoni. They both were in a relationship when Dhoni was the captain of Chennai Super Kings and Raai Laxmi was the team mascot.
The actress will soon make her Bollywood debut as the lead in Julie 2, and was last seen in a small role in Akira. During the promotional rounds of her upcoming film, Raai Laxmi was questioned about her relationship with Dhoni by SpotboyE, and strangely enough, she replied:

Now obviously, it’s not as if she is not aware of the famous wicket-keeper. It was more like her way of saying that both the parties have moved on, and the relationship is now a long forgotten past. She further said:
This needs to have a full stop. It was a long time ago, he is happily married now, he has kids… Certain things don’t work out, and then you have to move on. People had quickly taken it to a level that I was going to get married to him, and that was simply not true. The hype got us into an awkward space and that is why I do not talk to the media much about this, but I am talking a bit now. I do not want to speak about him in detail because I respect him a lot.
