If you are a health freak, or have recently turned into one, we are pretty sure you have heard of the magical whole grain – Quinoa. Even if you are far from joining the health bandwagon, you need to be acquainted with this high protein food. You’ll soon know why!

First, the basics. What is Quinoa?

It’s a high protein plant food that contain all the nine essential amino acids. It is high in fiber, magnesium, B-vitamins, iron, potassium, calcium, phosphorus, vitamin E and various beneficial antioxidants. What’s more? It’s gluten-free, so you can forget about counting calories.

TL;DR – It’s good for your body. Eat it!

Just think of the endless possibilities and giving all the junk food a super healthy twist – all you have to do is add quinoa to you recipes. The world would be such a better place with a little less guilt and a little more clean eating, right?!

Next, no, it does not take a michelin star chef to make a quinoa based dish.

Just prepare it like rice! Or throw in some veggies, add some dressing and you have a quinoa salad.

But that’s not all, folks! This versatile whole grain can be added to anything and everything – mix it in your chapatti dough, OR add cooked quinoa to a salad, OR add some veggies and make a quinoa pulao, OR mix it with peanut butter and make bite-sized protein snacks. OR (saved the best for the last) make chocolate brownies with them!

You don’t believe us, right?! Neither did our boss lady MissMalini, when our CEO Nowshad Rizwanullah treated, or rather pranked her into eating yummy brownies made with quinoa.

Check it out here:

Haha! Not only was the prank successful, but Malini loved the nutritious dessert. (That’s not an oxymoron anymore!) Go ahead, surprise your bae with this delightful and healthy combination!

And most importantly, it is NOT expensive!

Yeah, it looks fancy and unaffordable, but it isn’t. Specially if you purchase it from a trusted brand that sells local produce. For instance, India Gate.
