Popular TV actress Mouni Roy, who will be making her Bollywood debut with Akshay Kumar soon, reportedly visited her friend in jail. Sometime ago, news of singer-actor Amit Tandon‘s ex-wife Ruby being arrested in Dubai had broken out. Ruby is a successful dermatologist in Mumbai and she has spent the last three months in jail on charges of threatening government officials there. Her estranged husband has been trying his level best to get her out on bail as Ruby hasn’t seen their daughter, but all his attempts have failed.
The former couple’s common friend Mouni Roy decided to pay Ruby a visit after holidaying in Sri Lanka. As per a report on Spotboye.com, the meeting was extremely emotional and Mouni was moved to tears when she saw her friend behind bars. When in Mumbai, Ruby had an enviable clientele which includes actresses like Mouni and Sanjeeda Sheikh.
