Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai were one of our favourite couples in the 90s. We couldn’t get enough of them Mohabbatein and really wish they would’ve done more movies together, but alas, that became a rare occurrence. The two were at the Vogue Women Of The Year Awards recently and happily posed together for the shutterbugs. As you can imagine, all us 90s kids were ecstatic, and reminded us of the time they shared screen space together in Ae Dil Hai Muskhil.
Post that film, the audience wanted filmmakers to bring the two together for a full fledged film but it hasn’t happened despite them being flooded with offers. According to a report in Bollywood Life, the two turned down three films. Why? A source told BL,
Ever since Ae Dil Hai Mushkil released, Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have been offered three big films together. However, they have refused all three of them. Shah Rukh and Aishwarya share a great bond. They had a wonderful time together at a recent event too. But they refused all the movies offered to them just because they weren’t up to the mark. They would love to work together once again, but only when the right script comes their way. For now, they are not doing or are not in talks for any film.
Oh no! We really hope something good comes along because we can’t wait to watch the two share screen space. <3
