Udit Narayan Reacts To The Video Of Aditya Narayan Abusing Airline Staff

Divya Rao , 05 Oct 2017

Udit Narayan‘s son Aditya Narayan has found himself embroiled in a controversy after a video of him abusing airline staff has gone viral. Aditya was travelling from Raipur to Mumbai and was asked to pay Rs. 13,000 as he had 30 kilos of excess weight but Aditya refused to pay anything over Rs. 10,000, and lost his cool when asked for the full amount. In the video, he was heard saying, things like – “teri chaddi na utari, toh mera naam Aditya Narayan nahin.” (If I don’t strip you down to your underwear then my name is not Aditya Narayan). Followed by- “I will see you in Bombay. At some point or the other, we will reach Mumbai and then we shall see.”

He was allowed to board the flight after he apologised to the airline’s staff. His father, Udit Narayan, who is known to be extremely cool-headed, reacted to the video and spoke with Hindustan Times,

Main itna hi kehna chahunga that since his childhood he has been a good child aur usne acha kaam kiya hai and pata nahi yeh waha pe kya aapas meinjhagda hua, discussion hua. Video mein toh woh gusse mein lag raha hai (All I want to say is that since his childhood he has been a good boy and has worked hard. I don’t know what happened there between them. He looks angry in the video).

When asked about the statement that the airline issued against Aditya, he said he hasn’t heard of it.

Airlines ki taraf se toh kuch hai bhi nahi aaya, agar waha se kuch aata toh pata chalta. Ab pata nahi kisne video banaya and har jagah daal diya. Meri Aditya se iss baare mein kuch baat nahi hui hai.” (We haven’t received any information from the airline. I don’t know who made this video and uploaded it everywhere. I haven’t even spoken to Aditya about it.)

Hmmm. Thoughts?
