Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are one of the hottest couples in Bollywood. Everything they do (which includes even liking each other’s photos on Instagram) makes news. Recently, there were reports of Deepika meeting Ranveer’s extended family for dinner, but Ranveer’s spokesperson has called it a lie.
A publication did a piece on how many of Ranveer’s close family friends wanted to meet the actress. Here’s what happened according to their source –
But Deepika has been very busy of late. She had been shooting and then was in a multitude of meetings regarding future projects and brand endorsements. Finally, when she found the time, Ranveer arranged for a family dinner. Deepika was the star guest at the event. Everyone met her and clicked pictures as well.
Turns out, that’s fake news. Ranveer’s spokesperson has denied the existence of any such dinner. Here’s his official statement –
The report about Ranveer’s family meeting Deepika over a social do recently is completely false, baseless and frankly preposterous. Such untrue reports undermine the dignity of not only of the celebrity but also affects his family – it is highly unfair.
