We’ve been looking forward to Tumhari Sulu right from the time the trailer released. Vidya Balan is in her element and looks so endearing as Sulu, it’s hard not to fall in love with her. She plays a homemaker turned RJ in the film, who works the late night shift. Vidya goes from a saree clad ‘bhabiji’ to a sexy RJ so effortlessly, it makes me believe nobody else could’ve pulled this off with as much ease as her.
If you paid attention to the trailer, you would’ve heard the song ‘Ban Ja Rani‘ for a couple of seconds. I remember hearing it and thinking ‘I can’t wait for this song’, and I was right because it’s out now and it doesn’t disappoint. A feel good number from Guru Randhawa, who is slowly becoming quite popular in the Bollywood music scene, sees Vidya romancing Manav Kaul, and their chemistry is absolutely endearing. Manav almost steals the show with those super cute moves and I love that their story seems so relatable.
