Right from the very beginning of her journey in Bollywood, Alia Bhatt managed to impress the audience with her performances. Not just that, the li’l Miss Sunshine also made us fall in love with her off-screen appearances. She’s honest, warm and super adorable – and that makes her rather likable.
In fact, she’s one of the very few actresses in Bollywood who’s known to share a great equation with most of her contemporaries. And Ms. Bhatt never shies away to praise her colleagues.
During a recent interview with Rajeev Masand and Anupama Chopra, Alia spoke about Deepika Padukone and had the best things to say about her. She even said that she loves DP’s Padmawati look and can never look like that herself. Here’s what she said:
I’ve not seen the performance yet but I saw the trailer, I think Padmavati…. Deepika as Padmawati was just so fabulous and she just looked like so fabulous and I know I can never look like that or act like that.. she just looks like a Queen and I told her also ‘you are so lovely and so inspiring’ and I just know she is going to nail it in that film I just get that sense. I’m really looking forward to this one.
