A few excerpts from Nawazuddin Siddiqui‘s memoir – An Ordinary Life have caused so much drama that the actor has decided to withdraw its release. Following explicit details of hooking up with his Miss Lovely co-star Niharika Singh and actress Sunita Rajwar, the women threatened to sue the actor for fabricating certain parts of their relationship and sharing intimate details without their consent. There has also been a complaint against him with the National Commission for Women.
According to an article on Mid-Day, Niharika Singh’s lawyer Gautam Gulati, lodged a complaint on her behalf “outraging her modesty“. The complaint also accused Nawaz of “minting money and garnering free publicity for his book“. Due to all of this, Nawaz took to social media to apologize for hurting sentiments and informed everyone that he was withdrawing his book.
