Deepika Padukone threw a house party on Saturday night to celebrate the completion of Padmavati and the success of the first song from the film – Ghoomar. The get-together was a strictly private affair as well-known Bollywood paparazzo Viral Bhayani lamented that Deepika didn’t allow them to capture her party, nor did other people who live in the building –

As per multiple reports, Deepika sent a WhatsApp invite to her friends a few days before the bash. She had finished her work for Padmavati early last week but the actress was waiting for boyfriend Ranveer to complete his portions so that they could party together. Shahid Kapoor couldn’t make it as he was in London and Sanjay Leela Bhansali was busy with the post-production of his magnum opus. Abhishek Bachchan made a rare appearance as well, looking sharp in a tuxedo. There are rumours that Abhishek and Deepika have been signed on to play Sahir Ludhianvi and Amrita Pritam in SLB’s next production.
Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan arrived by 3am, when most guests had left and they chilled together till dawn. Sounds fun, doesn’t it?
