Varun Dhawan is one of the most talented and successful actors we have in the industry currently. He has delivered back-to-back hits since his debut and it looks like he’s going to continue with that streak given his upcoming films. He has begun shooting for his next film October, which is said to be much darker than the gritty Badlapur. And with Shoojit Sircar directing it, our expectations have only skyrocketed.

That Varun has a massive fan base is something we all know. But sometimes, fans take it to the next level with their actions and turn into stalkers. Varun has been having sleepless nights as one such stalker has been sending him a gazillion Whatsapp messages as reported on Mid-Day. When he blocked her number, he received a phone call from an unknown number and it turned out to be the woman, who threatened to commit suicide if he didn’t respond to her messages.

Varun consulted his legal team and filed a police complaint on the 2nd of November. A police officer revealed,

We have received a complaint from Varun Dhawan and are in the process of finding out details about the person who had called him. The number has been switched off ever since the call was made.
Man, that’s not a pleasant situation to be in.
