Priyanka Sharma and Divya Aggarwal were not an ideal match on Splitsvilla as per the show’s format. But they still found love in each other. And their story continued even after the show got over and they came back home. In fact, both of them went on record several times admitting to their ongoing romance. Naturally, fans couldn’t stop rooting for this cute couple.
However, things took a sudden turn when the hero of this saga entered the Bigg Boss house. Recently, Priyank was having a conversation with Hina Khan, when it was revealed that his girlfriend is currently studying in the US. This did leave Divya slightly unsettled but she took to Instagram to assert that she has faith on her love and she will stand by Priyank no matter what.
However, lately, Priyank and his co-contestant Benafsha Soonawala‘s closeness has grabbed a lot of attention and a certain exchange between then broke Divya’s heart. A while ago she had said:
Priyank is in Bigg Boss. You can’t expect him to sit and not talk to anyone. Benafsha and Priyank are very good old friends. It’s a good thing they went in together. I dont know why so many of you are tagging me in shit that he is going to make a connection with Benafsha. I am very upset with everyone who is saying that… Splitsvilla has been over for 4 months now. We are both genuinely with each other. We fell for each other. It’s sad that you guys still think like that about Priyank.
But in her latest interview with Hindustan Times, she has spoke about how upset she is:
When I saw the clip ‘Priyank and his girlfriends’, the title itself gave me jitters. Reading that ‘Priyank has so many girlfriends’ made me feel awkward, I felt ‘ya right, I am one of them, great!… In the previous episode, Hina clearly said that Priyank’s ‘jaan’ is in USA and now suddenly Priyank and Benafsha are attracted to each other. Secondly, Priyank said ‘I won’t have any problems outside but Benaf will.’ – I mean, Wow! Is he taking me for granted? He won’t have problems seriously?… I am shocked. So, what was he doing with me? Yes, we never stayed together under one roof but the way he wakes up Benaf, looks for her in the morning, treats her, kisses her etc etc – Priyank did the exact same things with me in Splitsvilla,” she said.Well, confronting Divya isn’t going to be easy for Divya when she exits the house. Will they get back together? I guess only time will tell.
