Day 1 of Van Heusen + GQ Fashion Nights was definitely a game changer in regards to menswear. But day 2 designers just took it to a whole new level. From interesting prints, sharp silhouettes and interesting shapes that took over the fashion scene last night. The innovative ideas were induced to break the norm that men’s fashion was bound by and the result was surely breathtaking. Here are the designers who were the real game changer of the night:
The best part of the show had to be the opening when Irrfan Khan entered the runway looking real fine, even in the long drape that he adorned. Rajesh Pratap Singh‘s showcase was all about a new direction in silhouettes and construction. The impeccable tailoring was highlighted even more due to the spot on styling.
On day 2, Van Heusen’s show was all bout the wedding season with their #VHFashionWeddings edition. The fabrics were a mix for suitings and rich weaves and were constructed in sharp silhouettes that suited the occasion. Showstopper Vidyut Jammwal was such a charmer as he rocked the ramp with a bouquet in his hand.
Arjun Khanna quirked up the night with her collection showcase. There were many details that we really liked about the collection. But the clear winners were the textured jackets, neck scarves and embroidered sleeves.
Known for his exquisite sculpted garments, Gaurav Gupta proved that he can ace tailored dressing as well. He glamed up the show not only with the embellishments, but also with the interesting silhouettes that were amazing to look at. Also, can we specially mention the royal capes that took over the runway. The ultimate style icon, Shahid Kapoor, fit the bill perfectly for being the showstopper of this epic collection.
