Last evening, Karan Johar announced the details of the ‘new students’ from Dharma Productions, making their grand debut in the Hindi film industry. Sridevi and Boney Kapoor‘s elder daughter Janhvi Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor‘s brother Ishaan Khattar are featuring in Shashank Khaitan‘s Dhadak, the Hindi adaptation of the Marathi blockbuster Sairat.

As per reports, Dhadak will be based in Haryana as opposed to Maharasthra in the original movie. Due to the fact that caste-based discrimination and honour killings are prevalent in both the states, we don’t think the core of the movie will be affected.
