You know what they say – when people spend a lot of time together, they inevitably end up getting attracted to each other at some point or the other. I’m not sure how true this is but we’ve heard countless stories of actors falling in love on the sets of movies. As cliched as it sounds, I’m reminded of Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan, who started dating while they were shooting for Tashan. Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra are also rumoured to be dating – both of whom met on the sets of Karan Johar‘s film Student Of The Year.

In a recent interview with Indian Express, Karan was asked if this happens often on his sets. He said,

Yeah all the time. It has happened more than five times, I can assure you. It happens all the time. People fall in love. It’s the industry of love.
On whether he has a problem with it…
No not at all. I love it. I believe you can never stop anyone’s personal life. We are here to make movies. What people do in their personal capacity is entirely their thing. In fact, if they fall in love, it’s great. If it’s legit and lovely, it’s fine. Even if it’s not, it’s their problem.
On whether this affects his films…
No, it only enhances it. Are you asking me (that is there a policy that two people can’t fall in love) because offices have rules that not to fall in love? No, it doesn’t matter in the movies. It’s cold yaar at times when you shoot outdoors. So, you never know what comes out of that.
Hahaha. You never know what the cold, cosy weather can bring out. That is true!
