Manushi Chhillar made us all very proud when she was crowned Miss World at the recently held Miss World Beauty Pageant. She brought home the crown after seventeen long years and the last time India held the title was when Priyanka Chopra had won it. It was quite evidently a celebratory moment for everyone and she also very sportingly replied to Shashi Tharoor‘s joke on her name too.
After seeing the pomp around the win, ex Bigg Boss contestant Sofia Hayat took to Instagram to diss the pageant, calling it outdated. She made some very valid points and questioned its relevance – like who decides what is beautiful in today’s times? Check out her thought-provoking post here.
