One of the most celebrated and loved actors of Indian cinema, Shashi Kapoor took his last breath today after battling prolonged illness. He had previously undergone a bypass surgery and had also suffered a chest infection in 2014. The veteran star is survived by three kids Karan Kapoor, Kunal Kapoor, and Sanjana Kapoor.
A great blend of talent and impeccable looks, Shashi Kapoor has given us many memorable performance in films like Deewaar, Roti Kapda Aur Makaan, Jab Jab Phool Khile and several others.
Though he is not with us anymore, he will continue to live in our hearts forever. May his soul rest in peace.
